colour theory is a set of guidelines corresponding to the mixture of colours and the visual effects of a specific colour combination.

 

As well as this there are definitions that define the Colour Wheel.

 

Primary colours These consists of the three main colours of the colour wheelImage result for primary colours

 

 

Secondary colours These consist of all three primary colours combined together to make a new variation of colours.

Tertiary colours are the resulting colour formed when an equal amount of a primary and a secondary colour are mixed They are the final stage of colours.

Colour Meaning (What each colour Means)

Red is the colour of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, the determination as well as passion, desire, and love.

 

 

Brown suggests stability and denotes masculine qualities.

 

 

Yellow is the colour of sunshine. It’s associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy.

 

 

Green is the colour of nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility.

 

 

Blue is the colour of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability.

 

 

Purple combines the stability of blue and the energy of red.

 

 

White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the colour of perfection.

 

 

Black is associated with power, elegance, formality, death, evil, and mystery.
